Touche'. But do you want someone kissing your ass all the time, or do you want a real critique of your mixes?
I understand that an hour isn't a whole lot to work with, and is hardly a blip on the radar considering the marathon length sets can go in and around NYC.
You are one of my favorite DJ's on this site. Your mixes: "Vocalicious" and "Vocalicious 2" are excellent and "Keep It Movin'" is one of the best mixes I've heard on "Sicktracks" and elsewhere. Definitely in the Top 10, if not Top 3.
I would be doing you a dis-service as a fan of yours and a lover of House music if I didn't review your sets honestly...especially when I know you can do better, because I've heard it.
im fine with the negative comments.....i just dont like when people comment but dont contribute
with that said, i dust off my decks maybe every 4 months nowadays and dont stay up on music all that frequently...i happen to think that this was one of my better mixes and keep it movin was somewhat forgettable, so it just goes to show we all have our own styles
70 min is a marathon set for me nowadays lol...plus i havent been to a real club in 3 years
