hate snow?

I can't stand it. I hated it before I wrecked my car in it yesterday, now I pretty much can't find a strong enough word for how badly I dislike it.

Oddly of all the things I hate about winter..one thing I do like about winter is I enjoy driving in snow, snowstorms...love big drifts on the road. <3 4x4 <3

ouchie - hope you're okay and nobody was hurt. I don't drive regularly but I remember I used to hate driving in the snow too - that's what I keep Scooter around for anyway.

we lost power for 12 hours yesterday. 60,000 people in the DC area are still without it. people just don't know what to do down here when it snows. i got the call from work at 2 saying we're closed 'til wednesday.

I rear-ended an SUV which is of course practically unscathed. My whole front end is just destroyed. I was about to buy a new car anyway but it's not awesome.

I can't remember ever getting so much snow in a single winter. We just don't get a lot of snow in south Jersey. Especially considering I'm 3 blocks from the ocean. Supposed to get 6 more inches Wednesday FML

About 10 yrs ago I bought a 5.0 mustang in Calgary and had to drive it back. It snowed and rear wheel sports car...ohhhh so amazing in snow. I ran off the road...when I stopped...the snow was up to the windshield plowed up. Nothing broke, busted a rad hose from the snow piled underneath.
But it was the scariest fucking thing ever, losing control like that. Last time I ever drove a car in snow again. I have pics of it in the snow...good times.

i just got my car out today....had to push it over a snow mound b/c the plows had me covered under two feet of snow. i literally live on the ocean, it sucks, i didn't realize how bad it gets here. the wind is the worst, I'm afraid of tidal waves. i also have no driveway, so I'm going to get plowed in every time. I'm sooo happy it's going to snow again tomorrow into Wednesday, i might pay my neighbors to let me park in their garage.

2 winters ago, I had to hire a guy with a backhoe to clear snow away from my house. I had a guy shovel off my roof, cause it was like 4ft of snow on it. And thenthe snow was almost as high as the roof around the house...I have a bungalow..and I couldnt see out the kitchen window lol.

Not sure how the whole world shut down but the D.C. area got about 3 feet of snow. The mid-atlantic is not equipped to handle that type of storm, so I can sympathize. The real eyebrow raiser is when it snows 6 inches and people act as if they're preparing for nuclear holocaust.
