I'm glad we can finally put this Brady/Manning debate aside. Had he won, there would be a bit more discussion about it. though I do believe Brady has alot to prove next season, and having the toughest schedule in football... it will be a true test.

You are saying we should all put this debate aside yet looking for thoughts.

Brady is clearly the best QB of the decade but needs to prove it next year. Isn't that the next decade?

And the Pats have the toughest schedule? Well maybe the 6th based on 09 W/Ls.

That's a lot to handle. As an addendum, can we get a quick top ten list (doesn't have to be sports related)?

I know he's only won 1 Superbowl, but to me from a pure skill set standpoint, i think he's the best. It's not that I hate Brady, I just think Peyton is a better QB then Brady. Brady is great also and it's not by a wide margin. If you're saying who's more clutch, then it's been Brady, but overall in terms of raw skill, I think it's Peyton

The Best QB's win big games and certainly dont have a career record of 9-9 in the playoffs. And dont give me this bad team nonsense. Hes been favored in way too many of these games hes lost.

Skill set like what? Ability to call his own plays at the line? How did that work out for him at the end of the half?

anytime i watch a colts game with someone who doesn't know football, i tell them you can learn everything you need to know about defense by watching peyton manning. the way he picks up on blitzes, releases the ball, hits receivers in stride. it's incredible. it awes me.

as someone who's repeatedly watched both of them tear my team to shreds and has equal disdain for both of them, i think peyton's a much better quarterback. i've seen brady lose games because he gets put on his ass. i can't say i remember the same happening to manning-- not saying it's never happened, but i blame peyton's big losses on lapses in judgement. pick your posin, really.

what do you think brady does better than peyton, manning.

Cassell's performance last year took a big chunk out of Brady's career, for me.

For my money, there's never been a more cerebral quarterback than Manning. I know his post-season record isn't great, but he has won a Superbowl and makes throws no other quarterback in the game can do. Consistently. Maybe ever.
